According to sources, Facebook Messenger may begin to make product suggestions and book reservations via the app. Generated by artificial intelligence, the suggestions aim to help users “discover” options for commerce within the app, without feeling “intrusive enough that it’ll create a bad messaging experience,” an unnamed source told The Information.

In order to address the clunky customer service experience on the app, Twitter has introduced custom profiles for businesses. Currently on trial with US mobile carrier T-Mobile, you’ll see the name and photograph of the person you’re dealing with via DM.

Starting today, you can share multiple photos and videos in one post on Instagram. Users can then edit up to 10 photos and videos individually or with a single filter on everything, choose their order, and tag friends in each. However, a single caption and location, as well as likes and comments, will apply to the whole post. For now, all the imagery must be in the square format.

A joint protest outside ABC in Ultimo is expected to get underway shortly after midday today, according to Radio Today. The demonstration is in response to concerns that the ABC is failing to meet its charter obligations in regards to the future of Radio National.

YouTube analysed the trailers for this year’s nine Best Picture Oscar nominees and found that the videos have accumulated 3 million hours of total watch time on the video-sharing platform.
